Eligibility Conditions
- First-time home buyer — no existing pucca (permanent) house in the family anywhere in India.
- The house must be in a statutory town/city area (Urban Local Body).
- The property must be in the name of the female head of household, or jointly with husband.
- The subsidy is credited upfront to your loan account, reducing your principal outstanding.
- Apply through your bank — they submit your application to NHB/HUDCO who release the subsidy.
